            MODERCROMO carries out its industrial activity within the framework of an Integrated Environmental Authorization (IAA), pursuant to the Legislative Decree 152\/2006 and subsequent amendments, which regulate systems with a high environmental impact. As the owner of A.I.A., the company is subject to an authorization system that integrates all environmental matrices (air, water, soil) and requires the adoption of the Best Available Techniques (BAT \u2013 Best Available Techniques), defined at the European level. This entails the obligation to maintain and demonstrate compliance with specific emission limit values in the atmosphere and in water discharges, the proper management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, as well as the preparation of periodic and documented environmental monitoring plans. The authorization also imposes self-monitoring procedures, flow traceability, chemicals management and the adoption of preventive measures to avoid major accidents or environmental contamination.
